YOUTH KOINONIA
Sunday Mornings
11:15am - 12:00pm
What does the word "koinonia" mean? "Koinonia" is the Greek word used in the New Testament for "fellowship". As my grandfather used to say it is "two or more fellows in the same ship". This picture gives the image of us participating on a long journey together. We are called to be working side by side to achieve the same goal. This means to be encouraging and motivating one another while sharing life together. As a body we have decided to use this word to represent our need to be in community with the body of believers as we press on together to become whole-hearted disciples of Jesus.
We strongly encourage Middle and High School students (we have additional groups for adults also) to participate in our "koinonia groups" that meet every Sunday from 11:15am to 12:00pm. This time is used for Bible Study and lessons with a focus on relationship building. For more details about what is being studied, where it's being studied, and who is leading the study, check out the side bar. -->
Although we have "koinonia groups" on Sunday, this short period of time is not the only time for "koinonia". We believe that koinonia should be an ongoing thing that happens throughout the week. So, spend time with others in the body and share life together!
